Total Event Network teams with Shark Fight Promotions to bring live MMA to the web

Total Event Network, an online pay-per-view streaming company based out of Austin, Texas, has partnered with Shark Fight Promotions to offer Online Pay-Per-View access to a spectacular evening

AUSTIN, TX, October 21, 2008 /Martial Arts PR News/ -- Total Event Network, an online pay-per-view streaming company based out of Austin, Texas, has partnered with Shark Fight Promotions to offer Online Pay-Per-View access to a spectacular evening of Mixed Martial Arts in remembrance of the tragic loss of local hero Evan Tanner. Shark fight Promoter Jim Larson has put together a card filled with names most MMA fans will recognize along with many local fighters who hold significant reputations in the sport as well.

On Saturday, October 24th at the Amarillo National Center, Shark Fight Promotions presents fighter Shannon the Cannon Ritch taking on TUF 7 vet "Big" John Wood. Also appearing, will be the return of local favorite Eric Davila as he takes on another TUF veteran in Richie Hightower. Rounding out the card will be a ladies match including 2X Texas State Wrestling Champion Chelsea Colarelli and Las Vegas fighter Lynn Alvarez. Local favorite Josh Sursa will make his hometown debut and will square off against veteran Brian Pardo.

After an 8 year absence, mixed martial arts returns to Amarillo where many of the top fighters received their start. Heath Herring, Paul Buentello, Frank Trigg, Steve Nelson and the late Evan Tanner all began their careers in this territory. Who's the next star to become discovered out of Amarillo?
