Vicente B. Andrada Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry
He was inducted into the Action Martial Arts Magazine Hall of Honors.
SAN ANTONIO, TX, October 31, 2008 /Martial Arts PR News/ -- Vicente B. Andrada, Computed Tomography Technician at Southwest Texas Methodist Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of diagnostic medicine.
With 26 years of professional experience, Mr. Andrada has been in his current position at Southwest Texas Methodist Hospital for 18 years. His daily responsibilities include performing CT scans on patients in the emergency room, intensive care unit and general floor. After fracturing his hand years ago, Mr. Andrada was fascinated by the x-ray techniques that were used, and the experience inspired him to pursue a career in diagnostic medical technology. He attributes his success to the support he receives from the great doctors and personnel with whom he works.
A licensed CT scan technician since 1997 and x-ray technician since 1983, Mr. Andrada received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of the Incarnate Word in 1997. A veteran of the United States Army, he practices martial arts and is a member of the American Karate Black Belt Association. He was inducted into the Action Martial Arts Magazine Hall of Honors in 2008. In his spare time, he volunteers with the Southside Church of God and donates generously to local charities and goodwill organizations. He aspires to pursue a master's degree in human resources.
Southwest Texas Methodist Hospital has served the community for over 30 years.
