Fighters Only meets the "Real Karate Kid"

NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE, UK, September 11, 2009 /Martial Arts PR News/ -- Issue 55 of Fighters Only, the world's leading Mixed Martial Arts & Lifestyle Magazine, goes on sale. The issue features an 8-page special feature on UFC light heavyweight Champion Lyoto Machida - the fighter who many are hailing as being responsible for a Karate revolution.
Machida and his three brothers were raised in the Samurai way by father Yoshizo, and the Champion's unusual story is told through his family and wife with input from the Champion himself. The fighter's style is unique within Mixed Martial Arts and he has not lost a single round in 7 fights in the UFC. The feature is an exclusive and unique inside story never before told and is set to be a fan favourite.
In the feature Lyoto comments of his family:

Father Yoshizo, who explains that he constantly pulls at his son's ears to make him more aggressive, comments on his instructions to Lyoto:
"I always fight with Lyoto, tell him not to give points to the opponents, but to finish the fights as soon as possible."
