Martial Arts Master Manages Membership With Stanford Who's Who
Stanford Who's Who welcomes Robert John Allen to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of his magnificent effort in the Martial Arts.
MIDLAND, WA, AUSTRALIA, February 13, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Robert John Allen to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of his magnificent effort in the Martial Arts. As Sensei of Swan Hills Goju Ryu, as well as throughout his incredible 47 year career, Robert has routinely demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
Swan Hills Goju Ryu offers Karate and Self-Defense classes for children and adults with training at two Dojos in Midland and Mt. Helena east of Perth, Western Australia. Chief Instructor Bob Allen 5th Dan Sensei has been running GoJu Ryu Karate classes since 1973 following a long tradition starting with the original Grand Master Chojun Miyagi. They regular gradings and competitions conducted by fully qualified instructors.
Mr. Allen has been training in the martial arts since 1963. He has trained with some of the best over the years, traveling to Japan on several occasions along the way to further his skills and mastery of the arts. In 1993, Robert competed in the first GoJu-Kai World Tournament and technical seminar held in Chiba, Japan. He has been involved with the West Australian Karate Federation as well as at times assisting the coach in Kata training. He also achieved the level of State Judge and then State Referee.
Over the years, Robert has trained many students to black belt standard with five students gaining 2nd Dan. In 2002, he officially became affiliated with Shihan Sal Ebanez of Goju Ryu Australia. Mr. Allen has developed many students who have been chosen in the Australian Team to compete internationally. He has also completed Grade I trainer under the Western Australian Sports Institute and is a nationally accredited coach, national kumite Judge, state kata Judge and is now the Western Australian branch chief instructor of Goju Ryu Australia Okinawan Goju Ryu Ryusyoki.
